Karan Johar to get Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan together in a film

It takes a Karan Johar to engineer a casting coup. If the filmmaker and anchor managed to get Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan together on his show, he also managed to get Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor come and give it to Ranbir Kapoor on his show as well.

And now he is going ahead and signing Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan for his next film. SRK and Aamir have been at loggerheads and but it took Karan to bring them together to try and break the deadlock among the distributors when they were on strike a few months ago.

According to highly placed sources, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been earmarked to play the lead roles in Karan’s next film. This will be Karan’s fifth film after ‘ Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘ Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, ‘ Kabhi Alvida Nahin Kehna’ and ‘ My Name is Khan’. Aamir and SRK, both were part of the film ‘ Luck By Chance’, but did not come together in any scene.

Aamir and SRK have never shared screen space together except in one scene in the film ‘ Pehla Nasha’ which was Ashutosh Gowariker’s debut film. It is a dream sequence in the film where Deepak Tijori imagines that Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rohit Roy and Sudesh Berry have come and congratulated him for a fabulous performance as an actor in a film. But then that dream of Ashutosh or Deepak never came true. And now Karan Johar seems to be living the dream that others have dreamt. Johar we reckon will want to make the big announcement soon though.
