Kamal Hassan fans wait is finally over as the superstar much awaited flick is all set to hit more than 700 screens around the world today. If sources are to be believed, film is already a hit even before its release as according to the buzz tickets till January first week are already sold out and theater owners are expecting a house-full in every show. The film would be releasing today in 24 screen in Chennai itself. If the demand continues to soar high, producers might raise the number of prints add sources. Some of the trade analys are of the view that Manmadhan Ambu might break the records created by Rajinikanth's blockbuster Endhiran.
Manmadhan Ambu has the eminent starcast like Kamal Hassan, Trisha Krishnan, Madhavan, Sangeetha, Ramesh Aravind who are directed by KS Ravikumar. It is a fun filled romantoc comedy where Kamal Hassan plays a detective named R. Munnar who is a retired Army Manager. Madhavan plays a lover boy role named Madana Gopal who is deeply love with Trisha named Ambujan, however struggle to express his feelings to her.
While Madana Gopal keep sturuggling and get to know after a year Trisha has become an actress in Telugu industry. He then decided to get to know her feelings for him. he approaches R Mannar (Kamal Hasan) detective office and seek his help. To know Trisha’s intention Kamal makes friendship with Trisha and attends every shootings of her.
Second half of the movie is full with twists and turns and becomes interesting. You would have to watch the movie to get the complete fun out of it. We recommend the readers to go for this movie as it is worth of your money, if you get the tickets.

Absolute Fun to watch the movie
Stop comparing this guy with one and only Super Star. No one is near Super Star. He is already arrogant and SuperStar is so humble. At present, noone can break records of Super Star except himself. THat's for a fact. He would continue earning Pennies whereas Super Star will go on to earn more Crores.
Sure Manmadhan Ambu’ will rock at theaters for this season and will be a successful winner in box office

The film is horrible. Very shallow storyline, slow and dull pace, empty dialogues, poor performances, bad songs, unbelievable story, Hero looks like a father of 5, hackneyed expressions by kamal; on the whole, a film sans any common sense. It is a bad entertainer and comes nowhere near Tenali, Panchatantram, etc. of Kamal. Looks as if Kamal and Ravikumar wanted got tired of the movie and just wanted to complete it somehow. Kamal's acting is awful. The film is painful, please avoid this monstrosity. Just because it is kamal and KS.Ravikumar, dont be fooled. The film is a waste of time and money.
Somebody has said here that kavalan will break all records. Yes it is true, it will break all records in being the MEGA FLOP of all time. Vijay, with his hollow eyes, his dullest face of tamil filmdom, his series of flops thinks he is another MGR. The truth is, he is not even another NAGESH!!! He is yet to prove himself at all. Let him first fight with all his children group of Suriya, Ajith, Simbhu, Dhanush, Arya and others before he can be called a MAN. It is not a question of doing number of films, it is how many hits he has delivered that matters. Vijay has a long long long way to go. He may come up, but he must work very very hard. Comparing him with MGR, SIVAJI, KAMAL, RAJINI, ha ha hahha.
Dont make kamal so small in the scene in throws the mobile phone. It is not his style and was
making fun of rajni in a friendly way.
Kamal is a hard worker both with his mind and
his body which Rajni is not.Rajni came thru a style which was likened by majority of illiterate tamilians which don't know anything of outside world or about cinema.He never used his mind or any hard work with his body in any
of his movies.He is just a dummy in the hands of a director.But Kamal's movies Will be something worthfull with lot of hardwork on and
behind screen.Any way manmadhan ambu does'nt portray his talents as much as in previous movies and just an entertainer in which kamal
relaxed and acted.The script and the dialogues was loosened in the last half an hour.
Kamal is not famous for his styles like throwing the mobile phone and those.This was a
making fun of his friend Rajni in a friendly way.Kamal is more hardworker than Rajni in every way if u observe.He is a multitalented
and is the fuel for 75percent of his movies, whr as rajni is a weapon in the hand of director which he can use as his wish.
Any how Manmadhan Ambu is a movie where Kamal
done some effort behind the screen and on the screen he was relaxing.everything was brilliant except the last Portions.

Wasted 3 hours of my life watching this awful movie, it was an absolute drudgery sitting through this. This movie reflects why utter rubbish like this Kamal Hassan ego-trip keep getting churned out - its the fault of these sort of reviews that don't spell the obvious, i.e. PEOPLE, DON'T GO TO SEE THIS CRAP.
This movie perfectly reflects why self-flagellation has kept the Tamil cinema going for all this while - the strange disease of "can see one time" (as we say it in Tamil) and "time past". Well, really, NO MORE - I mean, go read a book, watch a game, wash the dog, have sex...do anything, but please STOP this practice of keeping old farts like Kamal in business.
the film was nice photography and the flashback song neela vaanam is beautifully picturised and this is the very first time in film industry that the full song in rewind motion, i really enjoyed the song.. no one can beat kamals romance-able look and his stylish walk and dance... hats off kamalji...!!

Expected a lot Kamal ji, disappointed, please try your hand only in acting. Locales were good but movie was really bad dont know how Kamal got other actors to sign for this crap of a story line and a real boring movie.
Thanks to Kamal and K.S.Ravikumar for wasting Udhayanidhi's money but definitely his grandfather will recover the money from other routes. Are they descendants of Rajaraja cholan family? let’s come to the point. Kamal don't waste your time as well as others time. Small directors and actors are giving wonderful movies...what the hell is this? Are you trying to justify anything to relevant to your real life?

Kamal and co simply enjoyed udhuudhayanidhi's money with abroad trips and cruise and all. Nobody has taken responsibility to deliver a quality kamal movie. boring jokes , confused climax ...Maddy's acting and sangeetha's acting is good
MMA is an ecellent example of what a fine film should be. It conains all the ingredients of a great movie. The actors have done an exemplary job; the story-line is fine and the music exquisite. No scenes or songs have taken the audience away from the movie. It is a fabulous treat. Kamal and KSR are great. Movie goers are treated to a course on how a good film ought to be. Need more of such great treats.
Such a worst movie in 2009.... The movie contains nothing.... Kamal has once again given a bad movie... He is one of the best but he too has given such a rubbish movie...This is very disappointing... Only Madhavans acting is superb.. Others were Useless... Better he can negotiate such movies rather acting and getting Bad reviews.... None of the comedy makes us to laugh but they say to media as a good comedy movie... Really Kamal sir please quit acting its gud for all.....

U go and screw yourself. Kamal is a legend. He knows what is best for audience. And even in Kerala, audience were enjoying the comedy. I saw the film across 3 cities.....nalla theatre-la sirichittu inga vandhu mokkai-nu comment panradhu
MMA is a fine example of excellent screenwriting. Breaking the audience stereotypes...and showcasing different themes and emotions within 2.5 hours.
Theru porukki naigal who take solace in Ilaya Thalavali and Tharuthalai will not appreciate MMA.
