At 31, Kingfisher calendar model Nargis Fakhri has proved that one’s age and origin has no role to play as far as making a debut in films is concerned.The half-Czech, half-Pakistani model has already made a name for herself in Bollywood, without even a single film to her credit. She is currently in the Capital along with co- star Ranbir Kapoor shooting for their upcoming film, Rockstar, directed by Jab We Met director, Imtiaz Ali.

“ There is no direct competition between actresses who have a decade in age difference between them. With a few exceptions, actresses who turn 30 are offered less work as compared to the actors in the industry,” said Komal Nahata, editor and publisher of Film Information .
