A R Rahman & pop diva Dido together for Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours

International pop diva Dido and Bollywood’s Oscar-winning maestro A. R. Rahman are going all out to cement a creative bond.

Rahman and the British singer- songwriter, who collaborated on the song, If I rise , in Danny Boyle’s upcoming 127 Hours , are reportedly so impressed with each other that they are back to working together.

The buzz suggests ARR is set to come out with a glitzy music video featuring himself and Dido. The video is expected to be a visual representation of If I rise . Rahman, though, is in no mood to divulge details now.

“ Hey Guys, watch out for the world premiere of my new music video… coming soon,” Rahman wrote on Twitter. The 44-year old’s tweet comes with a classy picture showing him wearing a suede jacket and goggles near a helicopter.

Rahman has also been working with Dido on a new project, the details of which have been kept under wraps. It’s believed to be a top- notch international album that will see him collaborating with big names in music world including R& B star Usher and Dido.

Dido, too, has hinted at a special collaboration with Rahman on her website. “ I was working with A. R. Rahman on something else at his studio and he asked me if I’d like to collaborate on this song, for his soundtrack of 127 Hours ,” Dido says.

That’s not all. Rahman is also believed to be contemplating doing concerts with Dido. A source reveals: “ ARR and Dido have shared a very good rapport and Rahman has been very impressed by her work, especially her singles.” For now, it is not clear if Dido too makes an appearance in Rahman’s 127 Hours video. However, Dido seems most impressed with the composer’s score in the film, for which Rahman has already received a Golden Globe nomination and is being widely touted for an Oscar nod, too.

“ I was really up for it (collaborating with Rahman),” Dido said on her site.

Meanwhile, Rahman, who won an Oscar for his song Jai ho in Danny Boyle’s earlier venture Slumdog Millionaire , said on Facebook: “ I’m very excited about 127 Hours releasing in the UK ... and what makes it even more special is that we scored the music here.. in London (sic).” Rahman has worked with over 60 global musicians over the past couple of years.
