Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback on TV with the game show Zor Ka Jhatka on NDTV Imagine which would be on airtonight. Zor Ka is being shot in Argentina.

Will he ever try the stunts being performed on the show? “ I have done a lot of difficult stunts in my films, so it wouldnt be difficult to do them. But I am scared of water. I wouldnt be able to perform any water- based tasks,” admits King Khan.


Working for a TV show is also stressful for him.“ TV can get very stressful, because nothing is planned. I have to do everything on the spot,” he says.

In this show, Shah Rukh Khan will challenge 28 TV stars to a series of hilarious tasks and obstacles. Remember Payal Rohatgi? The starlet who made a desperate attempt on Bigg Boss 3 to get a few minutes of fame? Yes, Payal is back, in reality show Zor Ka Jhatka where she will be face- toface with Rahul Mahajans wife Dimpy Mahajan.

Payals romantic liaisons with Rahul were the talk of the town. But, on the show which is being shot in Argentina, we hear that Payal hurt herself badly.

And guess who she called for help? It was none other than Dimpy. Yes, the phone buzzed in Dimpys room and it was Payal complaining about her injury. Without realising her mistake, Payal spoke for a few minutes, but she was in for a shocker when it dawned on her that she was talking to Dimpy.

Urmila replaces Mallika Sherawat as judge of Chak Dhoom Dhoom

Actress Mallika Sherawat has been given the boot by Colors. The channel took a final call on Wednesday night, when they signed contract papers with Rangeela lady Urmila Matondkar, replacing Mallika as the judge of the dance reality show Chak Dhoom Dhoom.

A source from the channel said: “ She was giving a tough time to the entire production unit.” “ Mallika’s behaviour was extremely unprofessional and she threw a lot of tantrums during the auditions of the show in Delhi and Mumbai,” the source added. However, the final nail in the coffin was at the show launch in Mumbai, where the actress came in late and refused to give interviews, which she had earlier agreed to.

“ It was only when her tantrums started going beyond the tolerance levels, the channel decided to put an end to its association with the actress,” sources from the show said. Mallika was hired by the channel for a whopping amount of Rs 45 lakh per episode for the show. The channel was unable to find a proper replacement to the Hisss actress. Out of work Urmila Matondkar fitted the bill well as she had earlier judged the dance show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 2.

The channel sources said: “ Urmila is known as a dancing star, so she fits the bill better.” The shooting, which has been scheduled for January 25, will now continue with Urmila taking over the judges’ chair, along with choreographer Terence Lewis and anchor-actor-dancer Javed Jaffrey.

Mallika was reportedly finicky about her vanity van and also created a ruckus on the set about her lunch break being shortened. But, we learnt that Mallika has maintained a diplomatic stance on the issue. She was quoted as saying that the show was taking a lot of time, which was making her tired.

She has only two films in her hands — one being Double Dhamal and a film with Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah, which she has recently signed. She being dropped by the channel would surely give her more time for these two films.

Shahrukh Khan Zor ka Jhatka from Feb 1

Shahrukh Khan is the undisputed king in Bollywood and now in TV too King Khan seems to be on top. Shah Rukh's upcoming television reality show 'Zor Ka Jhatka' is going to replace Ekta Kapoor's show 'Bandini'.


Shah Rukh is making a comeback to television as the host of the game show and it will probably have a daily format. Officials from Imagine TV, the channel which will be airing the show, confirmed that ' Zor Ka Jhatka' will go on air from the 1st February in the 10pm to 11pm slot. Although they declined to comment on the show that will be replaced by Shah Rukh's, it is being said that ' Bandini' will come to an end in January after its long run to make way for ' Zor Ka Jhatka'.

'ZKJ' is being produced by Endemol India and it's the third reality show for Shah Rukh Khan as the host. Nobody of that stature from Bollywood has hosted three different shows on TV so far.

Bigg Boss 4 winner to be revealed today in grand finale

The fourth season of Big Boss has finally come to its D-Day when a contestant would be rewarded with the prize money of 1 crore. There are speculations that Ashmit is likely to win the title among the four finalists who are The Great Khali, Ashmit Patel, Shweta Tiwari and Dolly Bindra. Viewers of Big Boss 4 has witnessed all the drama through out the season and now its time for them to see the Winner. Major attractions of this season was Salman Khan as host, Dolly Bindra's aggression, Pamela Anderson's curves and Sarah-Ali Marriage out of which later has already been called off.

On the other hand even before Bigg Boss 4 comes to an end, show host Salman Khan has shown interest to appear in the show’s fifth season. The season 5 is on the cards, for which Sallu is keen to make a small- screen comeback as the host. However, the channel has not given any official confirmation as the actor is yet to finalise the terms and conditions for the next season.

For the current season, the actor had charged approximately Rs 3 crore per episode and in the coming season, he is likely to charge more. “ Salman thoroughly enjoyed hosting this show. He also increased the entertainment level of the show by being high- spirited and sporting. The decision to host the fifth season has come from him, which the channel is likely to honour,” says a source.

We know that Salman went inside the Bigg Boss house at the time of Diwali. Similarly, he had also developed a good rapport with the contestants. Salman enjoyed hosting the show so much that he has even planned to throw a bash for all the Bigg Boss participants.

The channel, however, is too busy with the finale of the show which will take place on Saturday night. It is only after the finale is over and the winner is announced that the channel will start working on the fifth season.

Madhuri Dixit to judge co-star Renuka Shahane in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4

Madhuri Dixit and actress Renuka Shahane will soon be seen together in the fourth season of the dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa . The actresses, who played sisters in the blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun!, will be meeting after 16 years.

Renuka is a contestant on the show, while Madhuri is the judge. This is the first time Renuka will put on dancing shoes for a show.

Though their onscreen bonding was much admired, Madhuri claims she won’t be partial to Renuka as a judge. She says, “ I am happy to meet co- stars with whom I have shared a wonderful work experience. And when it comes to judging I will be fair, but I will definitely be lenient towards the contestants.” Renuka is putting on dancing shoes for the first time on screen.

Asked whether she is nervous being on a show judged by Madhuri, she replied: “ I am not nervous. I will give my best efforts and follow my choreographer’s instructions sincerely.”

Shahrukh Khan set to be the highest paid celebrity on TV

Has Shah Rukh Khan been offered Rs 5 crore per episode for his television comeback? The buzz seems to suggest as much even as the superstar gets set to host the Indian version of Wipeout , which airs from the end of January 2011.

The 5- crore per episode amount for the show, which will be on air for about eight weeks, makes SRK Indian television’s highest- paid star. With this, he will beat Salman Khan who was paid Rs 3.5 crore per episode for Bigg Boss 4 . Among other Bollywood superstars on air recently, Akshay Kumar received around Rs 1.5 crore for MasterChef India , while Amitabh Bachchan took home around Rs 2 crore for Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 . Priyanka Chopra remains the highest paid woman celebrity on Indian television.

She pocketed around Rs 1.2 crore per episode for Khatron Ke Khiladi 3 . The official spokesperson of the channel airing Wipeout confirmed that SRK will soon be flying off to Argentina to shoot the episodes. Refusing to confirm the amount, he said: “ We cannot divulge the exact amount he will be getting per episode but it is an astronomical price for sure. All we can say it reiterates SRK’s position at the top of the pile.” Wipeout is originally an American reality adventure show in which contestants compete in what is billed as the world’s largest obstacle course. The watersport based contest premiered in 2008 on ABC. The show is a superhit with television viewers across 22 countries.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 3 winner Shabbir Ahluwalia, Bigg Boss 3 winner Vindoo Dara Singh, and TV actors Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopra have been confirmed as the participants on the show so far.

SRK was last seen on the small screen in 2008 when he appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 and Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai? Neither show lived up to the superstar’s stature and received lukewarm TRPs. With solid competition between Bollywood superstars on TV these days, it remains to be seen what the response to Shah Rukh’s new show will be.

SRK and Sameer Nair, head of Imagine TV have been friends for long. In fact, Nair was instrumental in roping in SRK for KBC 3 during his stint with Star TV. A source says: “ The actor agreed to do Wipeout as his kids love the show. They watch Wipeout regularly. It is an adventure show with loads of action and comedy”.

Arrogant Manoj Tiwari Evicted from Big Boss 4 House

Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari is evicted from Bigg Boss 4 , and he is the only celebrity who claims to feel relieved after coming out of the house, which according to him was nothing less than the “ jail”.


“ Only two weeks in the house, and I started to feel bored and suffocated inside.

I was caught among the people who were completely different from me. They would go to any extent to win the show,” says Manoj. The actor is clear that he has no intentions to go back inside the house, even if the channel invites him back. “ No wild card entry for me.

I would go on a foreign tour to ensure that I am not invited again,” says Tiwari.

Rahat Taslim, The First Woman Crorepati of KBC 4

Entertainment with Pamela in Big Boss 4 as show retains its time slot

Antics of Baywatch star Pamela Anderson on reality show Big Boss will be available at prime time, 9 pm, as usual. The Bombay High Court on Thursday stayed the information and broadcasting ministry’s directive to Colors channel to push its hit reality show beyond prime time.


The ministry of information and broadcasting had on Wednesday asked the channel to air the show only after 11 pm as it had adult content and could not be viewed by children.

The channel, however, went ahead with the telecast of the show at 9 pm prime time on Wednesday, claiming that they never received the order. On Thursday, the first working day after Eid, the channel got a stay order on the ministry’s directive. The ministry had called the channel management to explain defiance of ministry’s directive. Sources said the channel claimed that they never got the ministry’s directive on time.

In the high court, the channel said that there was nothing objectionable in the show hosted by Salman Khan, and the ministry’s order did not specify which episode or part of the episode offended decency and good taste.

The division bench of Justices D. K. Deshmukh and N. D. Deshpande adjourned the hearing to November 22, as nobody appeared on the ministry’s behalf. The channel’s lawyer, senior counsel Aspi Chinoy, alleged that the ministry did not accept the notice sent by his client.

But advocate Chinoy said that the order did not specify which incident in the show was offensive. In the earlier seasons of the show, ministry had specified what it thought to be objectionable, but not this time, he said.

No showcause notice was given to the channel, he said. The division bench noted that the channel had not been given a chance to present its case.

After Pamela entry, Dolly Bindra & Sameer Soni eliminated from Bigg Boss 4

It seems that the stage is set for Bigg Boss to rule the television for sometime as lot is happening inside its Lonavala house. Viewers were just done watching a real marriage of celebrities for the first time on television and seemed content, however the news of Pamela Anderson joining the fourth edition of Bigg Boss spread like the fire in Jungle which has made it a hot topic everywhere be it office, school or social networking sites like Twitter.

Big Boss 4 is the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons and to add more spice Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued a notification today as per which Bigg Boss on Colors and Rakhi ka Insaaf on Imagine are not fit for universal viewing and hence channels would have to telecast these shows between only between 11PM and 5 AM and with it, a disclaimer would be added to saying that its is not suitable for children, parents discretion is required.

Pamela Anderson would just be a guest in Big Boss 4

It is really difficult to understand that Big Boss has called an International Star "Pamela Anderson" to be a part of the Big Boss family as a guest like Ali Marchant. However Ali stayed inside the House of Big Boss. But Pamela would only be staying at the house for 8 -10 hours but may not be sleeping in the Big Boss House if sources are to be believed.

Now the question appears in our mind that where the International star would sleep so Big Boss will do the arrangement in the bungalow next to the Big Boss house that houses Salman Khan when he is shooting in Lonavala and the same bungalow, housed the Big B, Amitabh Bachchan whenever he used to come for the weekly shoots for Big Boss with the special arrangements.

This decision has been taken keeping in mind Pamela'a personal hygiene, security and other concerns which may prevent Pamela Anderson from actually staying inside the Bigg Boss house. Now the Big Boss has paid a huge amount of money to the star so they would not leave her without getting the cost out of her being a part of the Big Boss House. So Pamela will be staying at the Big Boss House and would be giving the required shots and thereafter would go back to the Bungalow.

Rakhi ka Insaaf: Rakhi Sawant would seek justice for herself

Rakhi Sawant the famous item song dancer is doing justice for people at her show called "Rakhi Ka insaaf", however she has forgotten that everything is not so easy the way you do item numbers by just wearing short clothes. Recent happening which has followen back on Rakhi is when she has badly kind off abuse a young chap called Laxman, a 24-year-old, youth from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh who came on the show with his wife to resolve marital discord. However Rakhi commented that he is a an "impotent" and right after that Luxman committed suicide.
On this Luxman's family says he went into deep depression after he was called 'impotent' by Rakhi and felt humiliated on TV, and never recovered. His family has filed an FIR against Rakhi for this.

Rakhi has not reacted at all on this as she says that People come on my show and if they want me to do the justice, then where am I wrong, I dont drag anyone on my show Rakhi also claims that my show is very much like Kiran Bedi's show in which she also used to do the justice, however no body commented on that. Rakhi says that I do justice for the people who come on my show from my heart, I don't understand the language of Indian Laws. It seems that Rakhi can do anything for the publicity of the show, however Rakhi should also keep this thing in mind that you should not run blindly after anything.

Grand Event on Bog Boss 4 : Ali Merchant & Sara Khan Wedding Pics

First time ever in a reality show like Big Boss, the marriage of two television stars Ali Merchant and Sarah Khan took place as they decided to get into the relationship called marriage to give a beginning to a new life.


Marriage took place in the Garden area of Big Boss House in the presence of Ali's parents and Sarah's Uncle. The "Qaji" read the holy book wordings for the Muslim tradition of marriage and the couple tied the knot with the commitment of living the life together and to grow old with each other. Everything was beautifully decorated and the housemates were also having fun and enjoying it to the core.

Now when we talk about the family to be a part of the marriage celebrations, then we memorize that Ali's parents came to give the blessings, however Sara's parents were missing and its is really hard to believe that a marriage happening on a reality show and bride's parents are not seen at all.


Something really seems to be fishy here, as Sarah's father is criticizing the marriage and claiming that the couple is already married and their marriage took place on 10 November 2009 in Bhopal and in evidence he a had shown the Nikahnama to media. Not only this the Qazi who did the marriage Ali and Sarah's marriage earlier has given a statement too that "The second marriage is against the Islam and it is illegal practice". However Ali's father has disagreed on these statements as he says that there is not registration for the marriage. It is also in the air that the couple has taken money from Big Boss to do this fake marriage.


Now its really difficult to comment on this as it would be either the couple or the family members who can actually tell the truth about what is true or what is fake. Money can led you do everything on this earth.

Sara and Ali Wedding Celebrations in Big Boss 4

Big Boss house got completely a different look and decorated like a paradise in honor of Sarah and Ali’s marriage and its is looking truely beautiful and I must say that the housemates would definitely feel as if they are actually invited in a marriage function.

Shweta seems to be giving some classes to Ali Merchant and at the other end again Dolly has started the morning with a crispy fight with the Bride Sarah and right after that the group discussion started between Ali, Sarah, Ashmit , Shweta and the captain Hrishant aboutn the fight of Sarah and Dolly. But after that the husband wife started the discussion that Dolly is doing all this as she has got the fame like this for the very first time and no body knows Dolly out side Big Boss, however Mr husband Ali has started taken this seriously and will make sure to give a dose to Dolly for this.

Big Boss sent a letter which was read by Shweta in the living area in the presence of all the house mates and that message was that today is the Haldi ceremay of Ali and Sarah so this will be celebrated by the girls outside and boys will not be a part of it, thus the Groom Ali will also have a makeover of Haldi so the reaming haldi will be in Ali’s kitty and this will be done by the girls again, however now boys can be a part of it so right after that the haldi ceremony started by the girls whre Sarah was dressed in stunning blue dress and Seema Ji sung a traditional song and ofcourse the back ground music was from the hit movies.

The big fight in between Shweta and Dolly seems to be over as Shweta was running after Dolly to put Haldi on her face and Dolly was enjoying this too.

Big Boss 4 viewers witnessed yet again the drama, fight on the Monday telecast which as per the latest evicted Rahul Bhatt scripted. Lot of things happened on the Maha-Monday amidst the preparation of Sara and Ali wedding. Rahul Bhatt on his exit nominated Sara Khan for the same old thing and Veena Malik for the fake attitude she carries, however that has provided enough weightage to nominate any of these.

With the nominations taking in the confession room of Big Boss, contestants nominated each other and with the total tally of votes and special captain;s nomination three contestants i.e. Dolly Bindra, Ashmit Patel & Aanchal are nominated for evivtion which will take place on this Friday.

Earlier in the show, Dolly and Ashmit again went into a fight where Ashmit made the tea without the consent of Kitchen Captain Dolly and faced the heat. Dolly Bindra, as might be instructed, again went personal and kept mentioning about the MMS scandal of Ashmit with Ria Sen where Ashmit kept irritating her with give-it-a-damn attitude, House Captain Hrishant also made his presence felt with his loud voice and for the first in the show, Dolly becomes the underdog.

On the other hand, Marriage preparations for Sara-Ali are gearing up and the house mates are all set to sizzle for the duo for which housemates are given a task to self-choreograph a song in a pair of two (one male and one female) which high-lights three stages of a couple's life together – pre-marriage, marriage and post-marriage; to be dedicated to the bride and the groom.

Contestants are busy decorating the house for the ceremony and buzz is that in the coming episodes, the game of 'Untying the Knot' where the bride's hands are tied up with the rope by boys and the groom has to untie the knot with his teeth only and vice-versa, the loser would complete the demand of the winner.

Prashant is the lucky man to win the chance to sit right in front of the Big B "Amitabh Bachchan" and play the most enjoyable game "Kaun Banega Crorepati" with the thoughts to win crores. Prashant has a wish to win Oscar and he has worked as an Assistant Director in Music Videos and he said that he also wishes to make a big film in which he would like Amitabh to play a role for saving Mumbai from the Alians. To accompany Prashant, he has his mother Sheela Batar and father PS Batar.

Prashant started the journey to win crores with the question having Rs 5000 to win as 'Who is the named "dhanno" in the Film Sholay?", followed with that the second one to win him Rs 10,000 was "Which of these is the word for a dweller of a desert area as well as a number" and the answer was 'Arab'. after these two questions Prashant crossed the first level of KBC 4.
