DSC 2008 merit list published, provisional selection list expected today

District Selection Committee (DSC), State Government of Andra Pradesh has already published the district wise merit list for the appointment of 30,830 secondary grade teachers (SGT). As per the schedule declared, the provisional selection list should be ready and published today on its official website on http://www.stuap.org.

Selected candidates will be called for verification of certificates at district-level on November 2 and the appointment letters will be issued to 500 SGTs every day from November 3. The newly appointed secondary grade teachers (SGTs) will make the tally of one teacher for every 30 students in government schools in Andra Pradesh, said by the state secondary education minister D Manikya Varaprasad.

As per the judgement of Supreme Court, 70% of the posts should be for B Ed candidates and 30% for D Ed candidates in the government schools of Andra Pradesh.
