Kerala Municipal Corporation election results has provided major setback to the ruling Left Democratic Front after the opposition Congress - led United Democratic Front (UDF) won two out of the four city corporations.
In Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam Corporations, both fronts are engaged in a neck-and-neck race. The election result of the crucial Kozhikode corporation will be announced on October 31, however in village panchayats, the Left Front continued to maintain an upper hand.
All the information related election results can be checked on the election official website on www.trend.kerala.gov.in. The counting held at 216 counting centres at block and corporation or municipality levels. Around 1.23 crore voters casted their votes in the second stage for the 12,374 positions in 698 local self-government bodies.
