The popular tamil tv dance show 'Maanada Mayilada' conducted the grand final of its season five in Abu Dhabi on October 15. The dance show which is one of the most watched television show in India (as per TRP), running for more than 4 years and is aired on Kalignar TV. The grand final of 'Maanada Mayilada 5' was organised in the National Theater, Abu Dhabi on October 15. Actors Prabhudeva & Nayantara were the chief guests for the evening. Along with them, Namitha, Khusboo & Kala (dance master & director of show) were also present at the finale.
Maanada Mayilada Season 5 was won by Bala & Swetha and accedpted the grand prize of a Flat worth Rs.44 Lakh in Pondicherry. Rehman & Shivani won the second place and Rs.5 Lakhs in cash where as Kiran & Leelavathi were on 3rd spot and took home Rs.3 Lakhs cash and in the end, Fayaz & Varsha won the consolation prize of Rs.1 Lakh.
The jodis participating the finals were Fiaz-Varsha, Bala-Swetha, Rahman-Shivani, Kiran-Leelavathi & Azhar-Jennifer in fully packed National Theater of Abu Dhabi.

Giving first price to Bala and Swetha is the waste, before Bala ask for his first prize before the results announced itself and he didn't showed the Dance talents and he showed his talents because he got some body. But others they showed their dance performance and in this Kala Master is making mistake and Soon it will loose all the audience support. In that Kiran & Leelavathi, Faiyaz and Varsha played a good role in the finals.

Its really a very low class decision to give first prize to bala $ swetha. Kala lost her credibilty by supporting bala and but not given the prize to the right couples. Its shame for kala and also to her proffession.

I like Bala dance, but he didn't do the dance at final, he did karathe. This is dance program, we are expecting the dance from everyone(everypair) other then zimnastic or karathe. Really I like bala dance so much, but he didn't dance, really we are very disappointed. Kala needs to take care, otherwise it is like other shows, it will be comming to end very soon...

I am disappoined with the judgement. I and my family never missed Maanada Mayilada 5. Now we have decided not to watch this programme anymore. Also, our friends are abandoning it as well. This is the only punishment we could give to the judges and the organisers.
