Asian Games 2010 Medal Tally : Narang bags second silver for India

Gagan Narang has brought India its second silver in Shooting in the 16th Asian Games 2010.
Before this , Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra, Gagan Narang and Sanjeev Rajput clinching the silver in the 10m air rifle team event on Saturday for India.It was expected that Shooting would play a major role in keeping India in Top 5. Shooter Gagan Narang has also won second silver for India in the 10m air rifle individual shooting event.
India finished seventh in the women's team event of the 10 metre air rifle event while the men's team finished fifth in the 50 metre pistol. None of the Indians could qualify for the final of the women's 10 metre air rifle event, but Navyman Omkar Singh finished fifth and qualified for the final of the men's 50 metre pistol event at the Aoti shooting range.
As of now, China is on top with three gold medals, one silver medal. Japan is on second spot with one gold medal and two silver medals and Korea is on third spot with one bronze medal.
