Virender Sehwag is on its way to script a one sided test match and probably the series as well as he has already scored 145 out of India's total of 212 at the loss of one wicket. Gautam Gambhir despite of spending some time on the wicket failed to capitalise on his inngings and was sent back to the pavilion by Ryder on 21.The great Indian wall, Rahul Dravid is at the crease and has scored 37 runs with 5 boundaries. Sehwag till now has hit 22 boundaries and 1 six. None of the New Zealand bowlers are looking to take some wickets or putting Indian batsmen under pressure. Some miracle or couple of hat-ricks can save New Zealand in this match.
Before this match, India have won five of their last six Test matches at home while the Daniel Vettori- led Kiwis just suffered a humiliating 4-0 ODI series loss to Bangladesh in the latter's territory which shows the form of two teams.
Adding more vows to New Zealand, batsmen of India who are yet to come i.e. Sachin Tendulkar, Laxman, Raina & Dhoni are also in good form and world be looking to 500-600 to bowl out New Zealand to clinch the win here.
